The figure is designed to reproduce Mignola-sensei's attractive illustrations and utilizes the know-how of articulation design cultivated in the 1000Toys action figure series to ensure a wide range of motion. The set includes the figure (wearing a T-shirt and a coat), a clenched face, a weapon holding hand (left), an open hand A (left), an open hand B (left), horns (left and right), and Excalibur. The pattern of the T-shirt he is wearing is based on the cover of the first volume of the comics, and the design includes a memorial signature from 1994-2024. The product packaging is also designed to resemble the first volume of the comics, making it a commemorative product called Hellboy 30th Anniversary Edition.
